PCBS appoints three new underwriters

PCBS Construction and Customs Bonds Services, Africa’s leading construction guarantee specialist, has appointed three new underwriters to service customers.

Shaun Lavery, Beauty Khuzwayo and Shaina Mower bring their collective years of experience in the insurance industry to the benefit of PCBS, working from the Johannesburg office. Their roles entail assessing background information on clients and studying insurance proposals.

Shaun, who holds a BCom Honours in Strategic Management from Rand Afrikaans University and an RE5 certificate, previously worked in Surety and Political Risk at Marsh and prior to that spent four years at Hollard Insurance as Underwriting Manager – Guarantees.

 

Beauty holds a National Diploma in Credit Management from the University of South Africa and has been at Credit Guarantee Insurance Corporation of Africa Limited since 2005. Her most recent position was that of Senior Consultant Business Development.

Shaina joined PCBS two years ago with six years’ experience as a Financial Adviser’s Assistant at Momentum Consult. She holds a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning from Milpark Business School.
